To Build A Better Future
Eco-friendly Production: We aim to utilise processes that have minimal environmental impact. Our techniques are refined to minimize waste, recycle resources, and harness energy-efficient means.
Reducing Carbon Footprint: We constantly evaluate our operations, making necessary adjustments to reduce emissions. Our objective is to strike a balance between delivering quality and preserving the planet.
Ethical Sourcing: Our commitment to ethical sourcing is unwavering. We ensure that every thread, every fabric, and every embellishment comes from suppliers who prioritise ethical practices, ensuring that the rights and welfare of all involved are upheld.
Evolving with Innovation: At the heart of our sustainability journey is innovation. We are perpetually on the lookout for greener materials, energy-saving methodologies, and processes that set new standards in sustainable luxury.
Circular Design Philosophy: We believe in a circular economy. Our designs prioritise longevity, with products crafted to be timeless, both in style and durability. This reduces the need for frequent replacements, curbing wasteful consumption.
Localised Sourcing: To further reduce our carbon footprint, we strive to source materials locally where possible, diminishing the environmental impact linked to long-distance transportation.
Water Conservation: Recognising the textile industry's significant water footprint, we've adopted water-saving techniques and wastewater treatments, ensuring every drop counts.
Duck Feather Sourcing and Ethical Processing: The duck feathers we use undergo rigorous cleansing processes, meeting the European Cleanliness Standard BS EN 12935. We work closely with leading institutions like DEFRA (Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs), EDFA (European Down & Feather Association) as well as the IDFL (International Down & Feather Laboratory), ensuring that our feathers carry no public health risk.
Our cushion pads are made in England, our supplier uses only EU sourced duck feathers which are a by-product of the meat industry; they are not procured by live plucking. All our duck feathers go through rigorous washing and drying purification processes to ensure utmost cleanliness. They are washed with specified detergents and sterilised at 120 degrees C.
