The Work

Cintamani Mirage V is a one-of-one framed textile artwork, hand-embroidered in silk. The format is contained and graphic, designed to sit with clarity on a wall and hold attention through rhythm rather than scale.

The surface is built as a measured repeat field of Çintamani units, arranged in a controlled grid across a charcoal ground. Each unit is defined by clean circular forms with consistent spacing, so the pattern reads as a single system. A perimeter wave border locks the field in place, giving the composition a clear edge rule and keeping the centre calm and legible.

Colour Logic

Colour is used structurally. A deep charcoal base sets depth and contrast. Cool blues carry the dominant mass, with ivory and ochre centres acting as anchors. Fine red outlining sharpens the geometry and prevents colour bleed, while the yellow border introduces a restrained outer signal without interrupting the field.
